Its safe to say that most people who cheated in this years jamb will never gain admission this year.
If you know you’ve cheated, just know that your chances of failure is at the 90% mark.
I listened to the Interview given by NTA to the Jamb registrer, Prof Ishaq Oloyede, and I perfectly understand JAMB’s stand in the matter.
If you’re clamouring for the result to be released, stop already!
You don’t know what’s going on and you dont understand the situation on ground. JAMB is doing you a favour.
Jamb is seeing to it that no one who cheats gets away with it. That means only legitimate candidates will get the admission slots!
Now to get down to to common misconceptions!
*Misconception No.1 :- “JAMB NETWORK MALFUNCTION”
If you’re among the candidates who has this complaint, then I’m sorry for you. You are an unlucky fellow.
The truth is that jamb does not and will never use internet (an exception is their online portal). Apart from that, jamb has not used internet to conduct the exam.
Jamb uses LAN and telecommunication cables to conduct exams. So if your exam conduction was slow, its the fault of the CBT centre not JAMB!
Misconception No.2 :- JAMB fingerprint issues
Before i attend to this, i wanna ask this question .
Are you the one who registered for the exam?
Are you sure that it was your fingerprint that were used to register for the exam??? Because if your answer to all those questions are yes, then its highly unlikely that you’ll have problems with fingerprint recognition.
According to the words of Prof Ishaq, this is what he said on TV…
*”WE HAVE proven records of situation OF a single Candidate REGISTERING FOR 30 Different others. AND WHEN THESE CANDIDATES GET TO THE CBT CENTRE, THEY KNOW THAT THE PROFESSIONAL WRITER(THE PERSON WHO WRITES EXAM FOR THEM) IS NOT AROUND AT THAT TIME, THEY CREATE “ARTIFICIAL PROBLEMS” AND THEN PERSUADE JAMB TO SET THEIR EXAMS TO A DATE WHERE THEY KNOW THAT….
