Alberto Galassi, director of Manchester City, insisted that Pep Guardiola, will remain fully committed to his contract with the club, as he criticize “nonsensical” reports of an impending move to Juventus.
Some reports had it that an agreement is already in place and that Pep Guardiola will be confirmed in his new role shortly.
Guardiola is being linked with the Serie A champions, days after winning an historic domestic treble in England.
However, that is not the case, said Galassi
“As a Manchester City director, I was surprised to read that a news agency broke completely nonsensical news.
“What Pep said last week obviously went unheard” he added.
“How many times do I have to say? I’m not going to go to Juventus, I’m not going to move to Italy”said Guardiola .
“First of all, the coach wants to stay at the club and his contract with the club still have two years left.
“Second, a club like Juventus would have contacted us first, before allowing the leak of such a huge news .
“It’s impossible to think that there will be a presentation in a few days. The news is completely untrue. It’s a rumours,” Galassi told Sky Sport Italia.
